As an educated and responsible citizen of India, you can lend a hand to make a difference. This is your chance to do something for the less fortunate and needy. Help the underprivileged help themselves! Your participation in the event can make a difference. You can touch a life; you can illuminate a life.
Tarang is involved in a number of projects including Daayitwa, Lakshya, Shiksha and
Aadhar. “Project Daayitva” focuses on enriching the quality of education in night schools. It
is specifically intended to help children who drop out of school to fulfill other commitments.
They can enroll in the night school to access quality education. Thanks to Project Daayitwa, the attendance in night schools has increased dramatically. ‘Food Seva’ is made available in all night schools to ensure students receive optimum nutrition along with quality education.
“Project Lakshya” is committed to bringing untapped talent to fore. As a matter of fact, a vast pool of untapped talent lies in slum areas. Slum kids particularly struggle with English, Maths and Computers. Project Lakshya focuses on improving English, Mathematical and Computer skills of students, with special emphasis on spoken English. Professionals specializing in spoken English are called to conduct lectures. Volunteers are also invited to teach children at all levels.
“Project Shiksha” offers free education to orphans. It supports a school in Faridabad in order to offer free education to 250 children. The literal meaning of the word ‘Shiksha’ is education. We, at Tarang, believe that education is the birthright of every child. We are committed to bringing about a dramatic transformation through our activities and events.
“Project Aadhar” offers financial support to the needy and less fortunate. It is unfortunatethat slum kids cannot afford education. Kids who want to study are unable to join school due to lack of financial support. Those who are keen to study are unable to reap rich benefits of quality education. We, at Tarang, are committed to bringing education to this section of the society. We are committed to reaching out to the less fortunate and help them study further.
